Beckie's Girl Kink Has Been Stolen

Beckie's puppy Kink was stolen right out of the pen at the Ohio dachshund picnic yesterday afternoon.

A woman with kids (10 to 12 years old) walked up picked up the puppy and took off with her. There were so many people around and it happened so fast that she disappeared before anyone could catch her. Beckie is just sick.

The police have been notified and we're going to try to get flyers to all the shelters and vets around that area and we're going to try to get it in the area papers.

All rescue group members be on the lookout in case the woman tries to dump the pup and please spread the infomation

Beckie and her pups are part of the dbb family I know everyone here loves her pups as my as their own. It makes me so sick that someone would do this. I worry about were little Kink is and if they are treating her decently. She is such a sweet little girl.

If anyone gets any information please contact

OMG I am so sorry. Kink is adorable and I hope they catch that family. Plaster that area with lots of flyers. I'll bet the kid will be telling everyone how she got a puppy and someone will come forward. Beckie is in my thoughts and

Beckie is on her way home from the picnic now. Let me add that with our combined resources I truly believe we can find this little girl & bring her home! Send rayz & say prayers just like we did for Whetley!

Kink is one of the pups that Beckie posted about a few days ago that was in the litter of the mama who was given shots after she had been bred (they didn't realize she'd been bred- it was an accident). It was really too early for little Kink to be away from home!!! She needs her brothers & sisters & mama! And especially BECKIE~~~ PLEASE...if you have any connections to rescues, etc....please be sure to spread the word!

We are going to try to get flyers made up & some people from up there ( the picnic organizers) are going to help us get them hung around there too!

Lori & I were both so angry about this last night that we were up into the wee hours discussing it! We love all Beckie's babies like they're our own...and we hate this!! Poor Beckie...Poor Kink! This woman is lucky that we did not find her yesterday, or I believe she wouldn't have walked away unmarred!!!

    Oh NO!

Poor Beckie and Kink. This just breaks my heart. I can only hope with all of us pulling together to do what we can, Kink can be found. He's too young to be away from his family, this is so wrong. for his safe and speedy return and to Beckie, this must be beyond awful.

Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help. I assume the woman was probably a local, so hopefully you can get posters up, and get word to the local media. Has a paypal fund been set up to pay for posters, supplies, etc? I'd be happy to contribute.

Oh how rotten someone would do that in plain daylight! Some people have some nerve!
I sure hope the pup can be found and returned to Beckie. That little pup sure must miss it's mommy.
that Kink can be found unharmed and returned to Beckie where she should be!

I am so sorry to hear this! What is it with some people? To steal a helpless animal. What kind of lesson is that for those kids? It just burns my backside! I hope they do the right thing and turn her into a vet or the police. I'm sure the press will cover it in the news. Keep your faith. Like another poster said; "We got Wetley back"

This is so unbelievable..that someone would steal a puppy right out from under our noses. It makes me so mad. Poor Beckie, is worried sick about her baby and if anyone can help please do.

Many many DBB for Kink that we find her quickly!

Well, that really burns my butt! I cannot believe this! I am ashamed to call myself human after some stunts like this! Rays and prayers on the way for poor little Kink and Beckie!!!!
(Would you believe on Rick's way back from Oregon, some guy in a large truck backed into him and dented the hood and bumper, took off, and no witnesses would help when Rick reported it to the local police? )
Are we just turning out more and more amoral people, or do we have better reporting and find out about more instances?

Did someone contact the local newspaper up there?? They might run a human interest story with pictures...with a little coverage there might be enough pressure to have her returned. You know it is possible the children told their parents they were given the puppy.....yes, I know, as a parent I would have checked, but it is possible the parents don't realize the puppy was stolen. Some people live in a fog....lots of rays & prayers to have Kink returned

I can't stand people who steal... that is just so vile. You can bet her kids are going to grow up just like her. What a low life.

for the puppy's quick return. I hope Beckie presses charges against that poor excuse for a human being.
